Engineering Development

Our aim during this stage is to make your product work and make it work well. Included in this are all aspects of mechanics, electronics, making sure the design is suitable for the method of manufacture and that the original design intent is maintained.
We continually check the design for ‘fitness for purpose’. Is it strong enough, will it work as expected, how might it fail, if it fails will it fail safe? Questions such as these are answered through a variety of methods, from simple math modelling to complex computer analysis, depending on the required detail in the answer. However much time spent performing analysis of these kinds, the best way to get a real feel for a new product before tooling exists is through prototyping.
Through this stage we engineer everything from how the product fits together to where any bought out components will come from. We pride ourselves on the thoroughness and depth of thought that goes into our design. The result of this is a full set of finalised and issued engineering data that can be used to cut tools, create prototypes, produce more visuals and can be used to move your product smoothly on to full production.
