| Part Replication |
New Service for 2003
Part of the PDG development process is the manufacture of production quality parts, without the expense of production tooling. We have refined this process to enable replication of parts that are no longer available.
Whilst this service is ideally geared to plastic parts, we have further developed the process to enable the replication of die-cast parts using suitable polymers.
Classic Cars?
For those with nostalgic or classic items, such as classic cars, where parts are no longer available, PDG are able to supply replica parts.
For instance cable connectors, light lenses, knobs and catches…..or anything else, we can even supply ‘moulded in’ connectors.
If there are items of which you only have one left, we can produce a simple mould tool as security.
Museums?
We can replicate: fragile parts, supply copies for security or even make parts transparent. Bronzes and other castings can be replicated faithfully in our polymers and finished as per the original (they also do not tarnish).
Marketeers and Sales
Would your product benefit by being shown in a transparent housing to show the workings? Using your current product we are able to replicate the outer parts in transparent plastic.
