PDG can act on your behalf to set up the manufacture of your product. We find that it can be valuable to the project because our input helps prevent alterations or mistakes from going unnoticed and unrecorded, thus maintaining the intent of your carefully selected design.
We also deal with the hassles of getting quotes; liasing with suppliers to ensure that your product goes into production as quickly and smoothly as possible. This frees up your valuable resource to concentrate on more pressing concerns.
Once set-up and ready, we would normally accompany you on a site visit to the manufacturer to allow you to see the first off parts being made. From this visit we produce a first-off inspection report, to confirm that the parts perform to specification and are within tolerance. When you are happy with the parts you approve them and normally production and any associated tools, jigs and fixtures are signed over to you.
We also deal with production for a number of companies where they prefer to minimise their involvement and receive the end product as an assembly or component from ourselves.
