Industrial Design

 |
Our industrial design service aims to create exciting products that meet new market needs through creativity, innovation and flair. We design products that are attractive and interesting whilst taking into account the needs of the end user and the issues arising throughout the product’s life cycle from conception to disposal, a ‘cradle to grave’ approach.
We design using the whole range of available materials, mainly working with the two most common, plastics and metals. The use of contrasting materials is one technique that can be used to create impact.
PDG’s industrial design team keep up with design and technological trends and influences allowing you to choose, through a selection of concepts, whether your product will be cutting-edge, contemporary, classic or for more industrial items, have its form mainly influenced by function. Your brief will shape the product but not constrain creativity.
Industrial design does not mean that all our designs are ‘industrial’. What it does mean is that our designs are backed up with engineering knowledge, from mechanics to EMC, aesthetics to manufacture.
Over the past ten years PDG have developed products of all kinds from factory test jigs and fixtures to personal and domestic items. Further examples of our work can be found in the gallery.
